FIRST PHASE : INSPECTION FROM BIG BATCH TO BIG BATCH
Operators inspect the fabric from big batch to big batch by using a data logger ATF 750.
Aim of the inspection process is to obtain a map of the faults and of all the relevant features of each fabric batch.
All data of each inspected big batch are available for the next phase called «CUTTING OPTIMIZATION»
During inspection operations some tags (or some invisible ink spray) are placed on the fabric every few meters.
During cutting phase the detection of the tags (or of the ink spray) allows the compensation of length differences and to find with precision the most convenient cutting positions.
SECOND PHASE : CUTTING OPTIMIZATION
OPTIMOM is a software able to calculate which is the best way to cut a big batch into smaller rolls.
The optimization process is essentially based on:
The list of defects of the batch to be optimized
Parameters and restrictions defining first quality good and faulty good.
After completion of the optimisation operation the cutting instructions are stored in memory and are made available for the further step of the process (automatic or manual cutting).
THIRD PHASE : AUTOMATIC CUTTING AND PACKAGING
According to the solution resulting from the optimisation phase, the ATF machine will automatically perform the following operations:
Automatic cutting of first quality rolls
Cutting of second quality roll
